An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a growing team within our civil litigation department.
Your responsibilities would include (but not be limited to):
1. Assisting fee-earners
2. Assisting drafting key documents at both the pre-action stage and post-issue stage, including but not limited to, Letters of Claim/LBA, statements of case, witness statements, instructions to counsel etc. Full supervision and training will be given.
3. Diarising key dates
4. Legal research (experience preferred and training will be provided)
5. Bundle preparation
6. Taking enquiries
7. Client onboarding, opening/closing files and general administrative tasks.
8. Assisting handling a caseload of contentious matters under supervision
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude who can achieve high standards of accuracy. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous litigation experience and some knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and Forms. We're also looking for:
