We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our immigration practice. The successful candidate will assist solicitors in providing legal support to individuals and corporate clients on a range of UK immigration matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Support solicitors with immigration and casework: drafting applications, correspondence and documentation.
Conduct legal research and draft initial case summaries.
Manage and maintain client files, track deadlines, and ensure accuracy of records.
Liaise with clients, immigration authorities and third parties under supervision.
Perform administrative duties: case intake, scheduling, billing support.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Law (LLB or equivalent).
Prior experience in immigration law or a similar role.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
