Our firm is looking for a Legal Assistant with at least one years experience. The ideal candidate will have fast and accurate typing skills, an ability to work independently and good communication skills both on the telephone and in person. The Role would be covering the Family, Conveyancing, Wills and Probate department.
Responsibilities:
Audio typing all correspondence to include letters, legal form and documents.
Undertake general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing.
Ideally, experience with court bundles/preparing electronic versions
Proficient in the use of IT systems - good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
Client contact - updating clients and dealing with enquiries, making appointments
Covering reception
