Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to lawyers, including managing schedules, organising files, and preparing legal documents. Conduct research and analysis to assist in case preparation and legal proceedings. Communicate effectively with clients, responding to enquiries and providing updates on case progress. Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and electronic documents. Assist in the preparation of court filings and ensure compliance with relevant deadlines. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for legal staff. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a legal environment. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and regulations. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a professional approach when interacting with clients and colleagues. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in using standard office software applications; familiarity with legal software is an advantage. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes.
