Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Working with Fee Earners and other members of the business to provide a first-class billing service for the firm Drafting bills and approving bills Producing credit notes Ensuring any agreed client fee arrangements or billing deadlines are complied with Ensuring compliance with SAR and VAT rules Time and disbursement write offs Dealing with requests and queries sent to the Billing team in a timely and efficient manner Providing WIP reports and liaising with Fee Earners to maximise their billing revenue Collaboration with the wider Finance team Ensure all financial data is accurately captured in the financial systems Generate ad hoc reports as required

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of experience of working as a Biller in a Law firm Strong written and verbal communication skills Good experience of using 3E or other similar practice management system; willingness and fast ability to pick up new systems Ability to work well independently and as part of a team providing support to others Ability to operate in a professional, calm and friendly manner Self-motivated Competent in Microsoft Office High levels of attention to detaill
