Executive Legal Assistant
, you'll play a key role in supporting the legal and commercial operations across all Lime productions. Based in Liverpool, the role offers exposure to both
scripted
and
non-scripted
content--from long-running drama like Hollyoaks, serial dramas and animation programming such as Wolf King, to acclaimed factual content from
Wise Owl Films
, including Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive & Kids, When Bruce Springsteen Came to Britain and Anita Bronte: Sisters of Disruption.
What we are looking for:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail are essential to this post as is being a team player. You will share workload and responsibility within the team, which can be busy and demanding with a need to respond quickly and calmly to a variety of requests. You will be able to confidently deal with people at all levels, both within the company and externally.
This is a broad ranging role that would suit anyone already working as a Legal & Business Affairs Executive, paralegal, or you may be about to qualify as a solicitor (although not essential). You should be educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) as a minimum, a legal qualification would be desirable.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who will approach all tasks with an inquiring mind and eagerness to learn. You will be able to understand the nuances of work within an in-house environment, dealing with a variety of programming and supporting material.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting, negotiating, and managing a variety of standard and non-standard agreements and licences
Handling contract processing, tracking, and documentation
Advising on legal, compliance, and business affairs matters from early stage of development throughout the production lifecycle
Providing day-to-day support to production and editorial teams, including responding to ad hoc legal and contractual queries
Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational workflows
Supporting business affairs documentation and contributing to broader legal operations within the company
