Watson Ramsbottom Limited are looking for a Legal Cashier to work from their Blackburn office. Ideally we are looking for someone with a minimum of 2/3 years' current experience in a similar role. However, although working knowledge of the solicitor's accounts rules would be desirable this is not essential and we would be prepared to consider candidates who have a good grounding in general accounts or experience of sales/purchase ledger work and train to the requisite level.
Key duties would include undertaking of daily banking functions which would include bank reconciliations, the administration and reconciliation of petty cash, processing client and office accounting transactions, including postings, preparations of cheques as necessary and the processing of bank transfers.
This Firm has an extremely busy conveyancing department and as such, candidates must be able to work well under pressure, have an extremely good eye for details and excellent numeracy. In return we will provide a competitive salary (dependent upon experience), and a number of additional benefits.
