The Role
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Cashier to join the finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the firm's financial processes and strict compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
Key duties will include:

• Carrying out daily banking functions including bank reconciliations
• Processing client and office accounting transactions (including postings and payment production)
• Handling client bills and checking for accuracy
• Managing purchase ledger entries and nominal payment requests
• Conducting both automatic and manual payment runs via online banking
• Coding and inputting purchase invoices to budget headings
• Managing VAT administration and returns
• Processing travel and general expense claims
• Performing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and ID verifications
• Dealing with enquiries from clients, fee earners, and internal teams
• Administering petty cash and reconciling accounts
• Supporting wider finance functions and assisting with ad hoc reporting
