Role description
We are recruiting for an experienced Legal Cashier who will be responsible for overseeing transactions, banking and client payments and ensuring all Solicitors Accounts Rules are strictly adhered too.
Working in a busy office environment your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining office and client ledgers
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information is provided
Processing transactions, including money received and payment out, including bank transfers and cheques
Producing weekly and monthly financial reports
Invoicing clients for services rendered and chasing any overdue payments
Processing purchase ledger invoices
Checking completion packs
Person Specification
Experience working as a Legal Cashier is essential
Knowledge of Solicitor's Accounts Rules is essential
Excel knowledge essential
