to join our friendly and professional team.
Working closely with and supported by our experienced Legal Cashiers, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our legal accounts function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in legal accounts who is looking to further develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring client accounts and promptly notifying fee earners of incoming funds
Posting receipts to client ledgers and resolving ledger queries
Processing BACS, TT, cheque, and card payments
Banking client cheques and handling completion monies
Receiving, checking, and processing completion packs
Preparing and processing sale bills
Managing residual balances on client ledgers
Posting daily HMLR and search invoices
Transferring funds from client to office accounts for bills and disbursements
About You:
Sound working knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
Recent, hands-on experience in a legal accounts environment
Good understanding of accounting principles
Confident IT skills, including legal accounting software and accurate keyboard use
Strong communication skills with a proactive and organised approach
