A rare & exciting Legal Counsel opportunity has come up for a 1 to 3 PQE Commercial Lawyer, within an instantly recognisable brand in the sports sector. The role is working within a well-established in house legal team and provides the opportunity to assist on a wide variety of commercial law matters such as: - Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts - Advising on marketing, advertising, sponsorship & partnership agreements - advising on employment, disputes, intellectual property - advising on risk & compliance matters including GDPR and regulatory - managing key internal stakeholders The opportunity is appropriate for a lawyer currently working in private practice and seeking to make the move in house for the first time in a hugely popular sector, or, for an in-house lawyer who is seeking a more varied workload & exposure than in their current role. Personality wise, it is key that you are a self-starter, able to build relationships with key internal stakeholders, and be willing and able to pick up the varied legal matters that will cross your desk. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week required in the office and 2 days working from home.
