TSR Legal 350,000 Legal Counsel Cardiff TSR Legal are currently partnering with a dynamic and high-profile sports organisation, playing a pivotal role in supporting its legal and commercial operations. This is a unique chance to work at the heart of elite sport, contributing to the legal management of major commercial projects, sponsorships, broadcasting rights, and contractual arrangements. Key Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including sponsorship, media, merchandising, licensing, and supplier agreements.
Providing timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders across commercial, operational, and executive teams.
Supporting contract lifecycle management and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and legal standards.
Advising on intellectual property matters, brand protection, and digital rights.
Assisting with the legal aspects of marketing and advertising campaigns, including compliance with consumer and competition law.
Managing relationships with external counsel when required.
Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, industry trends, and best practices to ensure proactive legal risk management.
Supporting strategic projects and initiatives across the organisation.
Skills and Experience
Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) in commercial law.
Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
Ideally, experience working within or advising clients in the sports, entertainment, or media sectors.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to legal advice.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
