Job Description
Leading energy firm is building their legal function and requires a qualified Solicitor to join their London team as Legal Counsel - compliance / regulatory / energy.
The Legal Counsel will form part of a small and focused legal team undertaking a broad range of commercial & compliance matters including:
General Compliance
- Anti-money laundering
- Ant-bribery & Corruption
- GDPR
- Data protection
Corporate Governance
- policy drafting and implementing
- Supporting on minutes
- Governance framework / regulatory matters
Commercial Contracts
- drafting & negotiating commercial contracts
Leading International Energy Firm |Excellent Corporate Compliance & Commercial Role of a qualified Solicitor
The ideal candidate will be c2-5 years PQE* having trained and qualified in the UK.
You will have a broad experience with corporate compliance experience looking to move into the energy sector.
- Corporate compliance with Anti-money laundering knowledge is key
- Energy sector experience is desirableThis would suit a solicitor looking to move in house or expand their skill set into a new sector.

Excellent day rate for a 24 rolling month contract
