Description





Apple seeks a real estate attorney with 5+ years of relevant experience. The attorney will report to Apple's Manager, Real Estate Law (EMEIA). You will join a regional team of attorneys acquiring and developing offices, retail stores, campuses, data centers and other purpose-built facilities across EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa). You will collaborate with other legal groups and cross-functional business teams including Places, Finance, Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, Procurement and Operations on a variety of real estate projects and services. This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of matters across EMEIA in a fast-paced environment and to develop a broad skill set. The job involves on-the-ground legal works as well as participation in strategic discussions on how to best satisfy Apple's business requirements.




Minimum Qualifications



Experience negotiating office and retail leases, purchase and sale agreements, design, construction and other development services agreements and governmental approvals and permits JD or equivalent, excellent academic credentials and admission to at least one bar

Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with executive management, teammates, and cross functional partners Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills Strong analytical skills and business sense with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways Ability to develop and facilitate collaboration by cultivating relationships and effectively counseling and communicating with legal and cross-functional partners Ability to drive transactions and focus and cut through complexity to distill the most important issues Ability to make and own hard calls Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects Experience with international transactions and renewable energy transactions preferred Self-starter who is curious, loves technology, and thrives in a dynamic environment Fluency in English Fluency in a second language is a plus
