  • Provide strategic commercial and legal advice to internal teams (e.g., sales, client services, product, operations) on a variety of legal and compliance issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including master services agreements, confidentiality agreements, order forms, statements of work, RFPs, client contracts, partnership agreements, and vendor/supplier agreements.
  • Conduct face-to-face negotiations with clients and partners.
  • Advise on and draft privacy-related documentation, such as privacy policies, and data sharing agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Monitor and analyse existing and proposed legislation and regulations (e.g., in privacy, contract, and advertising law) to ensure business compliance and provide sound commercial advice.
  • Develop and deliver training to business teams on contract and compliance matters.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal policies and processes.
  • Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities and proactively manage legal issues relevant to the industry.

  • Strong working knowledge of contract/commercial law and privacy.
  • Significant experience negotiating commercial contracts with customers and partners.
  • Experience advising cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal colleagues and customers.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Ability to take ownership of matters and have a solution-focused approach.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage quick turnaround times.
  • Sound and practical business judgment and ability to balance legal considerations with business objectives.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and results-driven self-starter with strong attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
  • UK Qualified lawyer with 4+ years of legal experience, including in-house experience
  • Strong working knowledge of contract/commercial law and privacy.
  • Significant experience negotiating commercial contracts with customers and partners.
  • Experience advising cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
