The role in a nutshell
--------------------------
We're looking for a paralegal or aspiring paralegal (including a graduate) who's curious about the future of legal engineering. Maybe you've just finished your law degree and wonder if there's more to legal work than textbooks suggest. Maybe you are a traditional paralegal currently or you simply believe technology can make law more accessible. If you're detail-oriented, eager to learn and ready to work hard while shaping the future of legal practice, this could be your perfect first step.
This role is ideal for launching your legal career beyond traditional paralegal work. We know you're a fast learner - you've proven that by completing your degree. Now we want to channel that ability, your fresh perspective and your attention to detail into helping shape how AI transforms the legal industry. You don't need prior work experience or tech expertise. Your academic insights combined with real-world application is exactly what we need.
Your typical day at Wordsmith AI
------------------------------------
Testing new AI features with real-world scenarios. When it handles something brilliantly, you'll document it. When it fails, you'll help fix it.
Jumping on calls with customers who are nervous about AI. You'll show them how our tools handle the boring stuff so their team can focus on interesting work.
Collaborating with our product team, explaining why paralegals will thank us for that feature tweak you suggested. Writing guides that help legal teams get started with AI - in plain English.
Feeling like you made a difference in how legal work gets done, not just processed documents.
