As an experienced Legal Expenses Insurance Claims Handler based in our Manchester or Guildford office, your role will be to assess and administer all types of legal expenses claims from notification through to settlement.
Good organisation, time management and the highest level of customer service at all times with our clients, intermediaries and third parties is expected.
You will be a strong team player, working efficiently to meet agreed objectives and have a good eye for detail. You must be able to deal effectively with enquiries and operate well within the parameters of stipulated procedures and authority limits.
The successful candidate will have at least two years' insurance experience in a similar role, comfortable dealing with high level individuals outside the firm, and will need exceptional interpersonal skills with voice, digital and face to face communication experience. Full working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and the use of management information systems is expected. You will be required to undertake ongoing training in line with agreed objectives and keep up to date with technical, legal and market developments via use of e-learning, internal training and by reading market related material.
Insurance or legal qualifications are desirable and will be beneficial for applicants.
