Adam Bernard Solicitors is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a
Ghanaian (Twi)-speaking individual
to support our Immigration and Asylum team. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in law and a desire to gain hands-on experience in a legal environment that supports vulnerable individuals and asylum seekers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist solicitors and caseworkers with
legal administrative tasks
, including document preparation and file management
Provide
language support and interpretation
for Ghanaian (Twi)-speaking clients
Support client interviews, gather documentation, and help maintain accurate case records
Draft basic correspondence under supervision
Help with legal aid paperwork, client onboarding, and case tracking
Attend team meetings and participate in training where applicable
Maintain confidentiality and comply with firm policies at all times
Requirements:
Fluent in
English and Ghanaian (Twi)
(both spoken and written)
Strong interest in
immigration and asylum law
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Previous legal or administrative experience is an advantage but not essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 22,880.00-40,761.17 per year
