We are now seeking a skilled and dependable Legal Secretary to join our close-knit team. If you have experience in family law and want to work in a professional yet welcoming office with excellent working conditions and your own parking space this could be the perfect opportunity.


As our Legal Secretary, you will play an essential part in supporting our solicitors and ensuring the smooth running of the department.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:




Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support Audio and copy typing of letters, documents, correspondence and court forms Producing accurate legal documents and file notes Preparing court bundles Managing telephone calls in a polite, friendly and efficient manner Scheduling appointments and dealing directly with clients General administration: filing, photocopying, archiving, and maintaining up-to-date case files Accessing and updating our case management system Assisting with money-laundering checks, cash entries and preparation of fee notes Handling all confidential information discreetly and professionally

Essential Skills & Experience




Proven experience as a legal secretary within a family law department Excellent communication skills, with a confident, friendly and outgoing manner both in person and over the phone Strong technical ability, including fast and accurate typing Exceptional attention to detail The ability to work independently, manage a busy workload and meet tight deadlines A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word A dependable, proactive attitude
