We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative support within a busy legal practice. Duties



Draft, proofread, and type legal documents with accuracy using audio typing and Microsoft Word. Manage and organise case files, correspondence, and legal documentation efficiently. Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings using Microsoft Outlook, ensuring effective time management. Prepare presentations and reports with Microsoft PowerPoint for client meetings and internal briefings. Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel to track case progress and deadlines. Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and external agencies via phone, email, and written correspondence. Assist with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and data entry. Support the legal team in preparing for court appearances or client consultations by organising relevant materials.

Qualifications



Proven administrative experience, preferably within a legal environment. Proficiency in audio typing with excellent typing speed and accuracy. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software or systems quickly. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines consistently. Attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to advance their career in law through dedicated administrative support.
