We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Legal Secretary / PA
to join our Personal Injury Litigation department in our Liverpool office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.
As Legal Secretary you will be responsible for supporting fee earners with audio typing and the preparation of documents and correspondence. You will use your excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Document Production & Audio Typing
o Draft, format, and finalise letters, documents, and other correspondence using audio dictation and typed notes.
o Ensure documents are accurately prepared in line with required timescales and departmental standards.
Diary & Task Management
o Manage the Director's diary, including scheduling meetings, court dates, conferences, and appointments.
o Provide timely reminders and ensure all deadlines and key dates are met.
Client & Third-Party Liaison
o Handle incoming and outgoing calls and emails in a professional and supportive manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Administrative Support
o Maintain accurate filing systems (electronic and paper-based).
o Scan, photocopy, and collate documents as required.
o Assist with travel bookings, file opening/closing, and internal file reviews.
o Support other members of the secretarial and admin team when needed.
Case Management System
o Use the firm's Proclaim case management system to input and update case information, manage tasks, and retrieve documents efficiently. Experience is not necessary and full training will be provided.
About You:
Secretarial Experience:
o Previous experience as a Secretary is essential.
Knowledge of PI Claims:
o Good understanding of Road Traffic Accident and Personal Injury claims processes.
Technical Skills:
o Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
o Fast and accurate audio typing and digital dictation skills.
Organisation & Communication:
o Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team Player:
o Willing to support colleagues across the team, demonstrating a collaborative and helpful attitude.
