THE ROLE:

• You will play a key role in providing administrative and secretarial support to a high-performing conveyancing team.
• Responsibilities within this position include but are not limited to:

o Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
o Consulting with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors to facilitate smooth transactions.
o Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and arranging appointments.
o Handling file administration - opening, maintaining and closing client files.
o Conducting Land Registry checks and property searches.
o Assisting with post-completion tasks, including SDLT submissions.
o Supporting billing and file management to ensure matters progress efficiently from instruction to completion.
THE CANDIDATE:

• You will have at least 1 year experience as a Legal Secretary or in a conveyancing support role.
• A good working knowledge of the residential conveyancing process is required.
• Must demonstrate fast and accurate typing, excellent document preparation skills and strong organisational ability.
• Confident, approachable and professional in all client interactions.
• Comfortable using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
