The Role: Private Client Secretary

We're looking for a

proactive, organised, and reliable Secretary

to support our Private Client Department. Working closely with our Fee Earners, you'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly and ensuring our clients continue to receive the high standard of service we're known for.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing accurate work, and thrives in a professional yet friendly environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Administrative & Typing Support



Producing accurate and timely typing for Fee Earners, including letters, legal documents, forms, statements, and accounts Handling filing, scanning, document preparation, and general administrative tasks Locating archived files, updating records, and tracking file movements Managing computerised diaries, appointments, deadlines, and reminders Supporting department operations and contributing to service improvements Helping maintain excellent client service to encourage repeat business and referrals

General Office Support



Answering incoming calls professionally and taking clear, accurate messages Arranging appointments and supporting Fee Earner schedules Acting as a witness for document signings when required Attending marketing or networking events as directed

Compliance & Development



Following firm policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements Working in line with the Practice Manual and Staff Handbook Taking part in training and development opportunities Supporting the firm with additional tasks as required
