Maternity Leave Conveyancing Legal Secretary with the opportunity to become permanent - Rugby Town Centre.

A well-established, reputable and family run law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join its team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, professional individual with previous experience in conveyancing support who enjoys working in a fast-paced, busy and conveyancing legal environment.

The firms practice areas include residential and commercial conveyancing and Private Client work.

About the Role:



The Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary will provide vital day-to-day support to a senior Solicitor with substantial caseloads, ensuring that all administrative and client service tasks are handled efficiently and to a high standard, from instruction through to completion. The role is suited to someone who is confident in conveyancing processes and able to work with minimal supervision.

This position offers a varied workload and the chance to be part of a small, friendly and collaborative team.

Hours of work Mon - Fri 08:45 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 17:00

Salary: Competitive.

Main Responsibilities Include:



Supporting senior fee earners with the conveyancing process Preparing legal documentation, correspondence and contracts using the firm's case management system Liaising courteously with clients, colleagues, solicitors, estate agents and lenders Undertaking general administrative tasks and assisting with case preparation Maintaining accurate digital and physical files ensuring that all case records are kept up to date Managing workload priorities to meet deadlines and maintain service excellence in a busy office setting

About You:



The firm is looking for confident and motivated individuals who take pride in delivering efficient and professional support.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within residential conveyancing (with a minimum of 2 years experience) Strong typing and document-production skills, with knowledge of legal terminology Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities, with close attention to detail Professional and clear communication skills, both written and verbal Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and case management software Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive legal team
