We are seeking a highly organised, accurate, and efficient Administrator/Secretary to join our team at the Rugeley Office. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. They will work closely with other Secretaries and support staff to assist fee earners and help maintain a well-coordinated and productive working environment.
Full or Part Time would be considered, with full time hours being 9-5 Monday to Friday with a one hour lunch break, but there can be some flexibility in these hours for the right candidate.
Duties:
- Performing general administrative duties within the department
- Managing correspondence and email communications on case files
- Organising and scheduling client appointments
- Document creation and management on the firm's Practice Management System
- Completing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently on Land Registry and Search Providers' portals
- Answering phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Conducting clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and typing (including digital dictation transcription)
- Provide reception cover as needed
Required Skills:
- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in spelling and grammar
- Ability to complete data entry tasks with precision (good IT skills)
- Experience in general administrative duties
- Competence in office operations and procedures
- Excellent phone etiquette when handling calls
- Skilful in clerical duties, including typing accurately
