We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Legal Secretary based at our Uxbridge office in West London.

In this varied role within a busy conveyancing department. You will directly support one solicitor with their busy caseload playing a vital role in progressing property matters efficiently. You will liaise with clients, agents and other professionals to deliver high standards throughout the conveyancing process. You will complete legal and general administrative tasks including preparing documentation for review and maintaining all files. In addition, you will:
1. Undertake file management including opening and closing files, client onboarding, preparing contract packs and post-completion requirements
2. Answer phone queries and develop a working knowledge of client matters providing updates throughout the transaction to clients, brokers, agents and solicitors.
3. Liaise with clients and ensure a good level of customer service.
This role is based at our head office in Uxbridge which is ideally positioned just off the High Street and has good transport links to central London and surrounding areas.
Necessary Skills
1. Ability to assist with a caseload of residential transactions from end to end.
2. Ability to work under pressure in a face paced environment.
3. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements including Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
4. Providing proactive administrative and legal support to fee earners and contributing to departmental efficiency.
5. Strong IT literacy with experience using MS Word, MS Excel and Case Management software.
6. A fast and accurate typing speed.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills - someone who enjoys client contact, answering telephone calls and providing assistance as appropriate.
