The Legal Team Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Pre-Litigation Team. This role is essential to ensuring that all pre-litigation case files, client communications, and documentation are managed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with case handlers, and management to assist in the smooth running of daily operations, helping to prepare cases for potential litigation and ensuring timely progress of claims.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Pre-Litigation Team, including file management, document preparation, and correspondence handling.
Open, maintain, and close case files in accordance with internal policies and data protection requirements.
Draft and format legal documents, letters, and reports under supervision.
Liaise with clients, third parties, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and written correspondence to gather and provide case information.
Track and update case progress on internal case management systems.
Manage and organize incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution.
Maintain accurate records, databases, and document control systems.
Support case handlers with preparing evidence bundles and legal documentation for submission.

Qualifications and Experience:
Knowledge of legal processes, particularly pre-litigation procedures, is highly desirable.
Experience using legal case management systems or CRM software.
Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; further legal or administrative qualifications (e.g., Legal Secretarial Diploma, CILEX certification) are an advantage.
