Responsibilities
Carry out routine monitoring and legionella control tasks in accordance with
HSG 274 Parts 1, 2 & 3
, including:
Water tank cleaning & disinfection
Temperature monitoring
TMV servicing
Water sampling
Domestic shower cleaning & disinfection
Evaporative cooling system cleaning & disinfection
Emergency shower & eye wash unit cleaning & disinfection
Represent Morgan Environmental Ltd professionally on customer sites
Maintain customer ZetaSafe online logbooks in line with
ACoP L8
and HSG 274 guidance
Complete all documentation accurately and promptly; manage any follow-up relating to customer queries
Communicate effectively each day with onsite staff and office personnel
Maintain adequate stock of chemicals and materials in the company vehicle
Follow RAMS, job sheets, and all special instructions for specific customers
Complete electronic vehicle checks and report any damage/issues to your line manager
Maintain company equipment (tablets, laptops, etc.) in good condition
Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
Take personal responsibility for your own health & safety and that of others
Report hazards, accidents, incidents, and near-misses promptly
Follow all safe working procedures and correctly wear PPE
Undertake any other reasonable task required by your manager in line with the role
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
2-3 years' experience
in legionella control tasks (HSG 274 Part 2/3) is desirable
City & Guilds qualifications
are desirable but not essential - full in-house & external training provided
Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office & ZetaSafe preferred)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent customer service skills
Strong team player
Physically fit - the role includes extensive walking on large sites
