About Us:

New Lanark Health & Wellness Club, part of New Lanark Mill Hotel offers a wide range of fitness and leisure facilities catering for residents and non residents. Our mission is to provide exceptional service and a welcoming environment for all our leisure subscribers and guests. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part time Leisure Attendant to join our vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests feel welcome and valued.

Facility Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all areas of the health club, including the gym, pool, changing rooms, and communal areas.

Safety and Supervision:

Oversee the safety of guests using the facilities, offering assistance and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

Equipment Management:

Regularly check and maintain fitness equipment, reporting any issues promptly.

Pool Duties:

Monitor poolside activities, enforce pool rules, and perform lifeguard duties (if qualified).

Member Support:

Provide guidance and support to members on the use of equipment and facilities.

Administrative Tasks:

Receive calls, make bookings, manage the spa diary, and handle general administrative duties.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service orientation Ability to work independently and as part of a team High standard of personal presentation Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Desirable:

Previous experience in a leisure or health club environment First Aid certification Relevant fitness or leisure qualifications

Pay: 8.60-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
