We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated

Leisure Assistant / Swimming Instructor

to join the leisure team at the stunning

Waterton Park Hotel

, set within the historic grounds of Walton Hall, Wakefield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified instructor who is passionate about swimming, fitness, and delivering excellent customer service in a high-quality leisure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality swimming lessons in line with Swim England / STA standards Ensure the safety and supervision of pool users at all times Carry out lifeguarding duties where required Set up, maintain, and clean leisure facilities, including poolside areas Provide a friendly, professional service to hotel guests and members Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow health & safety procedures

About You

Swim Instructor Level 2 qualification

(Swim England or STA) - essential Current

NPLQ

(or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and customer service skills A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to work Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Experience in a leisure or hotel environment is desirable but not essential
