Job Description

We are looking for a new member to join our hard working, lettings team. This is a well-rounded position offering lots of variety in your day to day tasks. We are an independent estate agency with 5 offices. All of our lettings are managed from our Kings Hill office, which is where you would be based. We are an experienced and enthusiastic team and want someone with a positive, can do attitude. This job is demanding. Experience in lettings is preferable but we will consider those with a strong administrative background. Applicants without experience in lettings or administration will not be considered.

Good telephone manner/communications skills is essential.

Skills: The skills required for this Lettings Administrator role will include:



Organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload Attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team and off own initiative Possess a good work ethic and positive attitude Ability to develop and maintain relationships Have an excellent telephone manner Strong communication skills, both written and oral Full UK driving licence & own car It can be very busy and pressured at times so being able to prioritise is essential. ADMIN EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL. Some level of property or lettings experience would be preferable and those applicants with lettings experience will be prioritised. Experience with Vebra Alto is highly advantageous. Good level of computer skills

Your role will consist of:



Dealing with day to day landlord and tenant emails and phone calls Registering tenants, arranging and attending property viewings Negotiating rental applications with landlords Carrying out referencing of tenants Making preparations ahead of tenant's move in. Drawing up tenancy agreements and serving compliance documentation Registering deposits and serving prescribed information Admin following a tenant moving in Managing rent arrears Renewals and Early Releases Rent Reviews Rent Increase Notices Assisting the Property Manager with maintenance and critical date certificates Assisting the Property Manager with posting & raising invoices Processing tenant notices and arranging check outs Helping other team members across the branch as needed

The Package:



It is a full-time position with a 5 day working week, some Saturdays may be required.

Salary from 24,000 (dependent on experience).

Free parking.

20 days holiday plus all Bank Holidays.

Commission negotiable after probation period (dependent on experience).
