We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lettings Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our lettings department and ensuring a seamless experience for both landlords and tenants. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
Handling new property and existing tenant enquiries by telephone and email.
Assisting with general day to day correspondence via telephone and email.
Working closely with our Lettings administrative team.
Assisting with the smooth running of all potential lets.
Using Property Management software for the ongoing management of a significant number of properties.
Ensuring legal requirements relating to residential lettings are adhered to
Dealing with maintenance issues - instructing and liaising with contractors and monitoring the progress of work.
Requirements
Knowledge of the relevant legislation and previous experience is beneficial.
A self-motivated person is required who can work closely within a small team to ensure our professional standards are maintained.
Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of dedicated Residential Lettings software would be an advantage, such CFP, Alto etc.
The ability to communicate effectively with clients, tenants and contractors in a friendly and professional manner is vital.
A flexible attitude to work responsibilities
A driving licence is essential
