Role Summary:

Marchside Property are a well-established property letting and management agency based in Morningside. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to operate independently, assisting with mid-tenancy property inspections one day a week. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring properties are being well maintained and any issues are promptly identified and reported.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out mid-tenancy inspections at a range of rental properties in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Complete inspection reports using our bespoke inspection software, including photographic evidence. Identify and report maintenance issues or concerns. Communicate findings with the lettings and property management team. Ensure inspections are carried out respectfully and professionally.

Requirements:

Previous experience in property inspections, lettings, or estate agency is desirable but not essential. Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic IT proficiency (e.g. using a tablet or mobile app to complete reports) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Some practical knowledge of house maintenance is beneficial.
