Summary

Lextons are looking for a Lettings Manager to join our friendly team due to continued success and expansion. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service with both tenants and landlords, gaining instructions, and understanding the full lettings process. You will need to have experience in estate agency and come across as personable and professional in everything you do.

The objective of this role is to increase the number of units currently under management. To increase market share of instructions throughout Brighton and Hove. To support, train and advise the lettings team to meet and exceed all targets as required.

The Role

Attend valuations and deliver new instructions Generate landlord leads through marketing activities assisted by the marketing manager Monitor and improve the quality and quantity of incoming tenant leads assisted by the marketing manager Manage the lettings team and maintain cohesion with the property management department Train lettings negotiators Monitor performance of the lettings team Recruit into the lettings team as appropriate Deal with staff training and regular performance appraisals Liaise with the Director on staff performance, market conditions and any issues that arise Be aware of competitor performance and activity

The Person

Minimum 5 years recent letting's experience Demonstrable winner of new business and instructions Recent experience in a senior/supervisory role managing a team of negotiators Industry recognised qualifications such as NAEA, NFOPP and ARLA are advantageous but not essential Happy to get involved in all aspects of lettings including viewings and building the business Understanding HMO licensing and requirements IT literate with knowledge of standard letting agency software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation skills Business winning/development mentality Knowledge of property law Trustworthy and genuine Target and performance management skills Able to work in a fast-paced target driven environment

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
