We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lettings Manager, as maternity cover, to oversee our property rental operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for organisation. As a Lettings Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our lettings department, managing tenant relationships, and maximising occupancy rates.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the lettings department, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, addressing any concerns or queries promptly.
Drive new landlord instructions and manage existing stock
Oversee property viewings, negotiations, and tenancy agreements to ensure successful lettings.
Coordinate marketing efforts to promote available properties through various channels.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications within the lettings database.
Conduct regular market research to stay informed about local rental trends and pricing strategies.
Lead and mentor the lettings team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Experience
Proven experience within a lettings or property management environment is essential.
Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Proven ability to win new business and manage landlord relationships.
