Mr Green is an independent estate agency based in Southbourne, focused on doing things properly - quality marketing, honest advice and looking after people for the long term. We're growing, busy with viewings and enquiries, and now need a strong lettings negotiator to be the front-end of our lettings business.
The role
You'll be the main point of contact for tenants and landlords on the lettings side, making sure everything runs smoothly from enquiry through to move-in. Day to day, you'll:
Handle lettings enquiries by phone, email and portal leads
Qualify applicants and book / conduct property viewings
Give honest, informed advice to landlords and tenants
Match applicants to properties and follow up proactively
Negotiate lets and agree terms between landlord and tenant
Progress lets through referencing to move-in, keeping everyone updated
Keep our CRM up to date with notes, feedback and activity
Work closely with the director and wider team to hit targets and maintain standards
About you
We're less bothered about fancy job titles and more about attitude and output. You're likely to be:
Experienced in lettings (negotiator or similar)
or
from a strong sales/customer service background and able to learn quickly
Confident on the phone and face-to-face, with good written English
Organised and calm under pressure - you can juggle multiple lets at different stages
Straight-talking, honest and genuinely focused on doing the right thing for clients
Comfortable using CRM systems / email / basic tech without hand-holding
Happy working in a small, tight-knit team where everyone mucks in
In possession of a
full UK driving licence and own car
