Lettings Negotiator | Preston, Lancashire | Full Time | Monday to Friday 8.45am \xe2\x80\x93 5.30pm & alternate Saturdays 9am to 4pm | Basic salary of \xc2\xa323,000 | Uncapped bonus scheme

Our client is an Independent Estate Agent and Letting Agent with four branches in Preston, Longridge, Garstang and Penwortham. The team has an excellent reputation for being proactive in marketing their properties and offering their customers fantastic service.

As a Lettings Negotiator, you will be required to drive, so a clean driving license is preferable.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this position
  • Letting industry experience is preferable however full training will be given to the right candidate
  • Must be a driven and focused individual who can work off their own initiative to join an already successful and growing business
  • A strong customer-focused background, with previous experience working to targets
  • The correct candidate would need a passion for property and good knowledge of the local area
  • You will be enthusiastic, energetic and dynamic with attention to detail
What will your role look like?
  • Assisting with finding new landlords via target marketing and influencing prospective landlords through social media and content marketing, then arranging market appraisals
  • Maintaining regular contact with existing and prospective landlords
  • You will take care of the whole lettings process from initial viewing to handing over keys. Including finding tenants, will involve reference and credit checks, making sure that the tenant and landlord\xe2\x80\x99s needs match, all while building rapport with both parties
  • You will arrange viewings, accompany viewings, draw up tenancy agreements and complete sign-up packs, whilst ensuring properties meet health and safety requirements and deal with any issues that may arise
  • Undertaking checkout inspections, security deposit management and dispute resolution
  • Arranging EPCs, inventories, property boards, and statutory safety checks (e.g. Gas), undertaking tenancy inspections and dealing with any ongoing property management issues
  • Maintaining the Lettings CRM System
  • Performing against company targets and taking the necessary steps to improve if needed
  • Ensuring all compliance and money laundering requirements are met
