Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Lettings Negotiator to join our rapidly growing residential lettings team at Trading Places. You'll be based at our Stretford branch and play a key role in delivering a seamless letting experience, managing the process from initial enquiry through to move-in and helping customers find their ideal home.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct property viewings and negotiate applications to drive occupancy of residential homes. Gather feedback from prospective tenants and relay insights to inform pricing and marketing strategy. Work closely with colleagues to ensure applications and tenancy agreements are processed promptly and to high standards. Conduct tenant check-ins and manage tenant queries throughout the tenancy period, ensuring a smooth and professional experience. Identify and report any defects or maintenance issues to our Property Management team, ensuring our homes remain high-quality. Maintain accurate systems and data records for all lettings activity, ensuring compliance and transparency. Undertake additional duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.

Skills and Competencies

Experience in residential lettings, estate agency, or sales environments is preferred but not essential. Exceptional customer-service mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills. Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-moving environment. Confident working autonomously. Collaborative team player, able to inspire and support colleagues, foster strong working relationships, and contribute positively to branch culture. Strong problem-solving capability and the ability to resolve issues efficiently, always with professionalism. High level of integrity and confidentiality: handling sensitive information and tenant/landlord relationships with trust and care. Ambitious and career-oriented: you will thrive in a scaling business that offers strong opportunity for progression, and you'll bring energy and drive to grow with the team.
