About the role:
As a Lettings Officer at Sage Homes you will ensure new homes are ready for residents at the point of handover. This involves close coordination with Project Managers, local authority partners, and incoming residents.
We're looking for someone with strong organisational skills, the ability to assess applicant eligibility, and excellent communication to deliver a smooth move-in experience. Accurate record-keeping and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential, as you'll be the first point of contact for our new residents and a key representative of Sage
This role will based out of our London Office in Covent Garden 3 days per week and 2 days remotely if required.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Contribute to local lettings plans and coordinate with Project Managers to prepare for property handovers.
Conduct pre-tenancy assessments to evaluate suitability and affordability, ensuring 100% accuracy.
Let homes to council-nominated applicants, arrange viewings, and complete sign-ups to minimise void times.
Guide residents through digital sign-up, explain tenancy rights/responsibilities, and demonstrate property features.
Enter tenancy data into systems within 24 hours and maintain accurate records, including CORE data.
Monitor voids, support digital service delivery, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
About you
E
xperience in tenancy management, housing law, and lettings practices, including working with local authority nominations.
Confident in using housing management systems, Microsoft Office, and managing digital documentation accurately.
Able to multitask, prioritise effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service throughout the lettings process.
