Company Overview

Sorbys Estate Agents is a small, independent, family-run firm located in Eckington, Sheffield S21. We launched the business 15 years ago and have always operated from our address in Sheffield, however the majority of the properties we sell and let are based in and around the Barnsley area.

Summary

We provide sales and lettings, however the position is largely to work with the lettings manager and be the administration and co-ordinator of everything lettings with duties that will include:

Receipting monies into our software when it hits the bank
Paying landlords and contractors along with emailing statements
Following up rent arrears and working with tenants to resolve payment issues
Maintain accurate tenancy records using our property management software
Assisting with tenant repairs
Providing and sending out tenancy notices
Phone calls into the office for viewings, property applications, etc.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
Prepare tenancy paperwork
Keep up to date with changes in tenancy regulations
Some assistance will be required to help with the sales side of the business

Requirements

Experience in property management or lettings is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Administrative experience will be beneficial for handling documentation
Working hours

The position is available either as FUL TIME or PART TIME.

The

full time

hours would be 9 to 5:30pm (Mon-Fri) and one in every three Saturdays 9-2pm - 27k PA

The

part time

hours would be 9 to 2pm (Mon-Fri) and one every three Saturdays 9-2pm. - 18,375 PA
