We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the social, emotional, and educational needs of children in a nursery setting. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage classroom dynamics will be essential in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our little learners. We are looking for practitioners for our baby room, 2 to 3s room and 3 plus.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across various domains, including physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity among children.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers regarding their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive atmosphere that meets the diverse needs of all children.
Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's activities and progress.
Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while managing classroom behaviour and dynamics.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to manage classroom activities while fostering positive relationships with children.
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and encourage teamwork among staff members.
A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with the ability to drive children's learning through play-based approaches.
Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of children throughout the day.
