Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced

Tutor/Assessor

to join our passionate and supportive team to deliver the Level 2 Care Certificate Qualification. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by equipping learners with essential skills in the health and social care sector. You will deliver engaging sessions covering key areas, while supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver interactive and informative lessons on core health and social care topics. Prepare and adapt teaching materials to suit different learning styles and needs. Assess and monitor learners' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance. Maintain accurate records of learner progress, including registers and portfolios of work. Ensure compliance with standards and educational guidelines. Support learners with queries and provide guidance throughout their learning journey.

What We're Looking For



Essential:



Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent) with relevant teaching experience. Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or higher. GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Proficiency in IT. Positive and professional attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage learners effectively. Practical experience within the Health & Social Care industry.

Desirable:



Assessing qualification (A1, CAVA, or equivalent) with relevant assessing experience. Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification.
