Part-time options available: 30 hours over 3 days, or 25 hours over 5 mornings or afternoons - other patterns can be considered for the right candidate

Full time, 40 hours per week (fixed days, Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm)

Qualification:

Level 2 in Early Years Childcare (or working towards Level 3)

Salary:

Dependent on experience and qualifications

We're really excited to be expanding at Rosewood Children's Day Nursery and opening a brand-new room as part of our continued growth. We're looking for a friendly and caring Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join our team and help us make this next chapter something special.

About the role

As a Level 2 Practitioner, you'll work alongside your Room Leader and the rest of the team to give children the best possible start.
Your day will include:

Supporting children's play and learning through fun, engaging activities Helping to set up a safe, calm and inspiring environment Getting involved in observations and planning with guidance from senior staff Building strong, positive relationships with families Supporting with care routines such as mealtimes, nappy changes and sleep Following nursery policies and helping to keep everyone safe and happy
You'll play a big part in the success of our new room and be supported to develop your skills and confidence as you grow in your role.

About you

We'd love to hear from you if you:

Hold a Level 2 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) Genuinely enjoy working with children and watching them learn and grow Can work well as part of a team and follow guidance from your Room Leader Are positive, reliable and keen to learn Have a good understanding of the EYFS and child development
If you're working towards your Level 3 qualification, we'll happily support you with further training.
