Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, ensuring their development and well-being during their formative years. This position requires strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Support children's emotional and social development by providing guidance and encouragement. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Manage classroom behaviour in a positive manner to ensure an inclusive atmosphere for all children. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Drive initiatives that support early childhood education principles and practices.

Experience

Minimum Level 2 full and relevant Early Years Qualification.

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong understanding of child development theories and practices. Previous leadership experience within a nursery or educational setting is advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for working with children and facilitating their growth through creative learning experiences.
