Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, especially the beginners so a nurturing, caring, empathetic personality would be pivotal in this role. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques and safety skills to individuals of all ages and abilities but the main focus will be on the younger age group. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a love for swimming while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

Conduct swimming lessons for various age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Develop tailored lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student. Teach essential swimming techniques, water safety skills, and personal water safety practices. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around the swimming area. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns. Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.

Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable. Level 2 swimming teacher certificate will be required. A strong understanding of swimming techniques and water safety regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both children and adults. A patient and encouraging attitude towards learners of all abilities is crucial. Relevant certifications including lifeguarding are an advantage but not mandatory. Pay: 20.00-27.50 per hour
