Job Description

We are looking for 2 Immigration caseworkers ideally with legal aid accreditation to support the current legal aid team.

The principal solicitor has a solid background in all immigration matters and a steady flow of referrals for legal aid matters. You will initially support the team and once you have grasped the procedures for asylum matters and have the appropriate accreditations in place you will be working on your own initiative ensuring you meet your targets.

A good understanding of legal aid work is essential and the ability to advise and assist clients on all aspects of asylum applications and procedures. A good standard of English is required as well as the ability to complete client meetings with professionals and clients from all backgrounds. Empathy and sensitivity is a must to build client relationships and a positive attitude and personable nature so that you can become a part of the current team.

Sponsorship will not be considered at this stage but may be available at a later stage as we currently do hold a license for the same.
