The Role Overview:

Working Hours: 5 Days Per week, 10am - 6pm / 8am - 4pm alternating weekly between the two schedules.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Parkside View Nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to children aged 18 months to 5 years.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment for children Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences for children, including outdoor play, arts and crafts, and story time Observe and assess children's development and progress, and record observations using appropriate documentation Work closely with parents and guardians to ensure the best possible care and support for their child Communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals, including sharing information and contributing to team meetings Foster positive relationships with children and their families, promoting inclusivity and diversity Actively promote and implement the nursery's policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding, and equal opportunities

Requirements:

Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a nursery setting with children aged 18 months to 5 years Preferably hold a first aid qualification Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ability to plan and deliver activities in line with this framework Good communication skills, both written and verbal Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning Positive, proactive and flexible approach to work
