Duties



Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in the nursery setting Supervise and support children's daily routines, including play, meals, and rest periods Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times in accordance with regulatory standards Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily observations Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication Lead by example in maintaining high standards of behaviour, organisation, and professionalism Assist with organising nursery events and activities that promote early childhood development Contribute to the ongoing development of nursery policies and procedures to ensure compliance with childcare regulations

Requirements



Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff and organise daily activities effectively Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Childcare qualification or relevant early childhood education certification is preferred Knowledge of current childcare legislation and best practices in early years education Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or supplies when required A caring attitude combined with organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Wolverhampton WV14: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

L2 Childcare qualification or above (preferred)
Work Location: In person
