Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team, providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. Knowledge and experience of the curiosity approach an advantage. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a group of children effectively, and a commitment to fostering their development.

Responsibilities



Provide attentive and compassionate care for children aged 0-5 years. Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive nursery environment. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational programmes and overall quality of care. Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities as required by regulatory bodies.

Skills



Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and staff members. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English to engage with parents and colleagues effectively. A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised atmosphere. A passion for nurturing children's development through creative play and learning experiences.
