Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Level 2 or above Sen support Practitioner at The Rowans Day Nursery in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

This is a 30 hour position and term time only. You must be able to work shifts between 9am and 4pm Wages are negotiable dependent on experience.

Essential Skills:

Excellent Knowledge of the EYFS and BCC safeguarding procedures

Excellent communication and ICT skills

We will expect a minimum of two references

A full Enhanced DBS Check.

Desirable Skills:

2 years experience of working in early years

First Aid trained

SENCO training

Your day to day responsibilities include:

Welcoming children & their families Planning activities for your room Ensuring the individual children's you are supporting are able to join in with resources around them Assist with self care routines Giving feed back at the end of the day Completing daily online monitoring and learning journals for your key children Providing a loving, safe and fun environment for all the children.
